Finally the headache is over.
I swapped out the O2 sensor and did the Ford drive cycle and to my surprise those same two monitors failed to complete. I hooked up a code reader and saw that the correct temps were being displayed, the sensors were cycling as they're supposed to, and they still weren't readying. I thought to myself that it has to be the tune. I know Bama said it wasn't, but I decided to call them this time. The tech I spoke to basically said that there were some values in the tune that were keeping the test from running. He was able to fix it, and sent me a new tune.
Next day I go to have it inspected, and wouldn't ya know it, it passed. American Muscle is 0 for 2 when it comes to email contact, but when I speak to them over the phone, everything has been resolved. Kind of annoying to get the runaround. This time it took me a month to figure it out and spent $150 in parts and gas trying to figure out why the tests weren't running. :smash:
Now that the car is all good, exhaust and all, the next step is to get a complete tune for my now permanent setup for the season. After that will be just a little datalogging and smoothing out any issues. Just in time for the car show season to start.
I'll follow up with how it drives and sounds once all this rain we've been having passes. As far as idle goes, sounds great.
