Yes alive and well lol. The fox was an old work car back in the day. Seized from a drug dealer and used for drug awareness. Just happened I loved mustangs and they let me dress it up. Waiting for the summer, I WILL be out more this year
Here is a pic of my 69 Coupe on a trailer 5 years ago, waiting to be towed back to NJ from upstate NY, but this time it will be residing in south Jersey at the shore to be exact. This is almost what the car looked like when I acquired it as a rolling shell back in 8/01 except without the doors, the hood, & the rear spoiler. It was being used as a parts car, & it had a poor dark blue paint job on it.
Since acquiring the car back in 01 it has been moved 4 times, the 4th time coming back home to NJ where it was originally built at the Metuchen, NJ Ford plant on 11/25/1968. The serious work on the car didn't start until we moved back to NJ from upstate NY in 8/2011. Since then I have replaced the l/s trunk floor, rear gas tank support panel, tail light panel, l/s & r/s outer wheel houses, l/s & r/s quarter skins, r/s door skin, l/s door shell, r/s toe board patch, l/s full floor, l/s seat platform, l/s & r/s torque boxes, l/s & r/s front inner fender panels, battery tray & numerous patches.
This is how is looks today.
Next up for it is to strip off the front suspension, steering linkage, & the brake system so I can remove all the old undercoating from the rear inner fender panels & the firewall.
Pictures aren't great because I'm waiting on a lien release in the mail, but I just picked this up this weekend. Unfortunately on 4/20 I was involved in an accident in my 04 GT, totalling it. I debated for a month deciding on what I wanted, when a pretty nice craigslist deal popped up. So exactly one month later on 5/20 I became the new owner of an 04 Mach 1, with only 21k miles!
It should be on the road by the end of this week, where I will be sure to get more pictures.
Here is a new pic of my 69 Coupe how it looks at this time. In the last year I have installed 4.5 mid-eye rear 1" lowering rear leaf springs, Shelby/Arning 1" UCA drop, 1" drop perf front coil springs, hydraulic clutch, all new front UCA, LCA, OTR strut rods, roller idler arm, steering linkage, a reman steering box from Chockostang, Koni STR-T shocks all around, Kelsey/Hayes type 4 piston calipers, Master cyl, brake booster, all new brake lines, rebuilt the steering column, coated the interior floors & firewall with Master Series Silver paint, stripped all the old undercoating & paint from both sides of the inner fender panels, applied 2 coats of Master Series Silver paint & top coated it with Master Series chassis black.
Here is a pic of how it looked before I started working on it a few months after I got it home. Sorry about the pic quality as it is a pic of a Polaroid.
