After photo spotting last week with my iPhone, I used a Nikon D750 with Nikon 16-35mm f/4 VR lens yesterday to do a proper job.


1/25s, f/16, ISO 100, 16mm focal length, tripod, circular polarizer filter. Processed in Macphun Intensify CK and Lightroom.


1/125s, f/8, ISO 1100, 30mm focal length, hand held. Processed in Macphun Intensify CK and Lightroom.


1/125s, f/16, ISO 640, 28mm focal length, hand held, circular polarizer filter. Processed in Macphun Intensify CK and Lightroom.

Had the UPR Dual Valve Catch Can and Tune+ Upgraded Turbosmart Actuator installed last week.



Tonight, I installed the UPR Crankcase Breather.

Added a little class to the interior with the White Madness Automatic Shifter Conversion Kit with Blue Shift Knob last night. Easy install IF you do not drop the screws into the cavity below the shifter. Luckily, the screws are steel and I was able to fish them out with a magnet.

Wow, what a long winter. Finally got Genie out of storage at the end of April. This week I finally got the new wheels and tires put on her.



Wheels are LMR SVE R350 Liquid Graphite 19x10s surrounded by Continental ExtremeContact Sport 285/35ZR19 Tires.

Planning on painting the brake calipers now since you can see them. Anyone looking for a set of Ecoboost Premium Performance Pack 19" wheels with stock tires?

Oh, almost forgot, installed a new steering wheel over the winter.

This next change will take a little explanation. Way back in June of 2016 after I placed the order for a Grabber Blue Ecoboost, I went in search of ways to customize its look as I did with my previous 2005 Mustang. I came across a guy on eBay selling covers for the front and rear Pony emblems. Having not come across the idea of using orange graphics, I ordered a set of Grabber Blue Pony Emblem Covers and installed them a few days after bringing the car home.

After I had the Big Worm Graphix Orange Hood Spears and Mustang Stallion Stripes installed, I realized and many people seeing my car commented on the Pony emblems should be in orange. Well, thanks to UPR Products Memorial Day Sale, I picked up a Front Grille Pony and Rear Decklid Pony Emblems in Competition Orange. I used the install video by CJ Pony Parts which is very good. CJPP was out of stock on the rear emblem which is why I went to UPR and the sale saved me a few bucks, too. There is one thing about the video. It talks about the shutters in front of the radiator of the Ecoboost Mustangs which, if there, will mean you have to take the front bumper cover off to install the front Pony emblem. Well, if those shutters were removed when installing an upgraded Intercooler (as I did), one can just reach in like a GT and break the pins holding in the emblem.

The weather has been terrible since I put these on. I am itching at doing a full photo shoot as soon as the weather clears and I get some time.

I will note that the Competition Orange does not look as bright as I thought it would. Will have to compare them to a friend's CO at the next Cars and Coffee event I get to.

Have not done much since my last post. Genie is in storage sharing a space with three other Mustangs including a 2016 GT 350 and 2013 GT 500.



That's the cool side of the garage. Genie hangs out on the utility side.



Hoping for an early Spring like in 2017 and not a late one like last year.

Whew...Spring has long been coming. Finally got to my first Cars and Coffee list weekend and meet up with another 2017 Grabber Blue Mustang...





All in all, it was a good day.



Going to have Genie Dyno'd in a couple of weeks. Will report back on its numbers.
