I've got a 06 f250 with 58000.miles on her,all very easy boat only weights 3000lbs,just replaced egr cooler because it seemedto be smoking a little more then usual,well now it seems worse,I wasn't leaking coolant was just doing it as preventative maintenance,there was oil in the down tube,is the seal in my turbo shot? any advise would be great thanks:D

Yeah its not looking pretty,no coolant loose,only seems to puff when it idles warm,pulling away from a stop,my guess is the seal in the turbo on the exhaust side,injectors don't seem to leak down.

Trust me I have owned 5 and worked on a 100 it need's a turbo lol. Don't freak yourself out with injectors while they do go bad they will be accompanied by a loss of power. Grab one and do it your self quite simple just a tight spot. Hardest part is getting the drain tube lined back up.

Here's a few pics of my last one 3 weeks after I got it . Head studs, EGR Cooler delete,new turbo. Never had a problem after that on any of them except for the stock turbo's losing the seal on the exhaust side. Always seems to happen out of nowhere too.

Well its offical,its a bad turbo,injectors checked out good,though they might have pinched a o'ring when they took turbo off,I had it off today installed new o,rings had oil in the down tube
