Thanks Gary, I am taking the wiring a little at a time. Today I spent a few hours in the garage & hooked the power wires to the plugs for the l/s & r/s hi & low beam head lights, & the l/s & r/s turn signals.
Today I installed the ignition cylinder, & the wiper switch. The wiper switch is out of a 1985 Ford truck that is intermittent & the Mustang harness plugs right into it. I just have to hook up the ground for the new switch.
I acquired an aluminum driveshaft for the Mustang from a 2000 Explorer 2WD 4 door 4.0 V-6 which is the same length as the stock Mustang driveshaft. Now I just need to replace the u joints & install the yoke for the T-5 trans.
We will see. This past week I soaked both u joints with PB Blaster & was able to remove them both with a punch & a light duty sledge hammer. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong new u joints & have to return them to Summit & get the correct ones. The driveshaft, the T-5 yoke, & the yoke in the 9" rear all need the Moog 1330 u joints.
