I was bored the other day so I decided to make my 3rd brake light a little brighter.
There are a few ways i could have done this, but I am cheap so I did it the easy way.
All I did was add 4 12v red lamps to the brake light housing. I wanted white but nobody had them and I wasn't bored enough to make a complete assembly.
I was going to go with 10-25 white Led's but they store didn't have the resistors that I needed.
So easy, a caveman can do it.
I don't think I need to comment on the individual steps, if you have a question I will answer it no problem.
Here are the pics.
Had to remove spoiler to get the light out.
Have to press 3 clips on top and bottom to separate
All of the parts taken apart.
1/2" holes drilled
lamps installed
wired together
completed wiring
back in car
That's it. They worked great, but I think I will change them to white lamps when I can get them, that will be 100 times better.
Any questions, just ask.
