I did mine down the sides. From a distance they look cool, up close you will see the flaws.

I was very tempted to attempt to install mine last fall, but I decided to have them put on by a professional. There are numerous youtube videos out there to show you how its done, but it appears to be too easy to mess up. My suggestion, if you're looking for them to come out really good and you're not sure if you can pull it off, take it somewhere

I wanted to have it done by a pro but everybody wants 800 and up just to do vinyl Stripes it's outrageous on Long Island.

I'd say so. I had my stripes made and installed for $300. I would never pay $800 to do it. From what I can tell, the wet method of applying stripes would be the safest. I am sure I could have done it, but like i said... it was $300 for a pro to do it. I ended up going to a sign company. Most sign companies that specialize in wrapping trucks and van for advertising work with vinyl materials as well.

You know what's crazy I called another guy and he wanted $1,200 to do stripes I'm like what is this world come to.

That's insane. The material itself only costs them about $50, and the install only took my guy about 2 hours he said. Don't get ripped off on these high prices.
