  • Question for you folks I have a 2006 GT standard and when I first start my car up after letting it sit for a few hours I let it warm up a good 4 to 5 mins before I drive but when I hit around 3,000 RPM's I get a metal rattle sound from underneath my car but after I drive a little bit it goes away any ideas what is causing this? Thanks in advance !

The heat shield may have been bent down onto the exhaust somehow. I removed part of my heat shield when I put the x pipe in.

Opinions on Royal Purple Oil about to do a oil change thinking of using it!

Not worth the money, especially if you change oil regularly. Mobil1 ..$25 for 5.5 quarts at Walmart. I've also read that RP it's too thin, especially for gears.

if your going to spend a good amount on oil i would go with redline oil

Royal purple is not bad in anyway but i speak for myself when i say i believe Redline is one of the best quality oils
