I had smoked tailights for 3years in NYC ....no ticket given. They seem to look for window tinting.Keep them on the car.

They will never catch me, I only drive her about 400-500 miles per year, I have never had a front plate on either, since Sept. 2005,haven't got me for that yet!!! Almost got me once for inspection, but as the state cop was coming toward me in the other lane there was a cute girl walking on the sidewalk on his side when he got to me, what do you think he looked at, the corner of my windshield or her ass?

I have 20% tints no tickets and smoked lights. Plate i could not get away with in NYC. I drive the 10 4000 miles a year. My 14 only has 800 plus miles since march delivery,

Every motor vehicle, except a motorcycle, operated or driven upon
the public highways of the state, if manufactured on or after January
first, nineteen hundred fifty-two, shall be equipped with at least two
stop lamps, one on each side, each of which shall display a red to amber
light visible at least five hundred feet from the rear of the vehicle
when the brake of such vehicle is applied.
