and the woes continue.......back to the stealership she goes:( the noise has returned so it looks like they are going to try to replace the idler gear this time(free of charge) so hopefully that will do it.

I'm hearing 800-1200 ms points and 330MB in size crash and overgrown are coming back with bailout salvage and storm. who's ready to be owned!!!!!

8 days and counting......got a call today saying they were still waiting on a part but the guy did say he was going to knock 200 off the bill due to the length of time it was taking. so thumbs up to them at least realizing i was starting to get annoyed

i'm still waiting to get it back too vision ford has had it since last monday and they still dont even have it put back together yet. Not happy with that at all. It was 3 days before they even told me what was wrong with it.

So update on the noise.......took the car in finally and the noise was caused by a $1500.00 piece of silicone stuck in the 5th gear needle bearing. Go figure huh. at least I got the clutch done too.

ehhh my garage is the only place my car goes lol. My parents have trusted Griff's auto in greece for a long time though.

so i got it to do it again and this time when i pushed in the clutch it did not go away. this is a bitch to figure out without opening it up i assume?

Sounds alot like if you grind the gears but higher pitched and much faster vibration. When I got it to do it last night I pushed in the clutch and it stopped after a split second but not imediatly whne I pushed it in. It has never done it in any gear besides 5th

its sounds like a bearing grinding to me but only does it in 5th gear. produces slight vibration in the shifter but not like grinding a gear vibration. what info can help?

Ok so recently i realised that what i had thought for the longest time was wind noise due to the vert top is actually my tranny whinning in 5th gear. It only does it in 5th gear and oly does it sometimes at 55-65mph. I have no idea what this is but I am concerned. Any advice?
