I put the rod down in there with the light, and it seemed that the seat belt was twisted in the mechanism, so I straightened it out so it's flat in the white mechanism now. Unfortunately it still wouldn't come out. I'm just going to bring it to the dealership, or a local shop.
Yeah, it won't come all the way out. I'll try to push it down with a rod or long screwdriver tonight. Everyone I drive has to have the seatbelt around their arm without actually being buckeled and it's just not safe.
For a few weeks now my passenger side seatbelt has been jammed pretty good, and I don't want to take it to some garage and have them charge me $150.00 to fix it. Is this something that happens a lot with the 99-04 models, or the 03 in general? I think it may be twisted where the mechanism is...
