Is it a real GT500E Eleanor (or clone) as the exterior shot suggests? I would say no as the interior is missing several details as does the entire ad. $22k for a mildly customized Mustang like this is reasonable. If it were a real GT500E, I think it would be more along the lines of $100k.

Ya, I'm 100% sure its a clone. My guess... a base model straight 6 that was modified. Still one sick looking ride. And for that price, it'd be nice to have in the garage. The real thing would be in the 200k - 300k im thinkin.

This was listed in ALbany a few days ago...Add claimed it was REAL GT500...I don't buy it. In fact it had been flagged and removed on Albany CL so I'm guesing a scam?
I was given the green light for the install of my Grabber Blue racing stripes yesterday. I was referred to Josh over at Vital Signs located in Webster. I saw a few pieces of his work and I don't think I'll be let down on my mustang. Dropping off Sunday afternoon and should be done Tuesday at the latest. Pics will be posted!

Side stripes were silver/grey. Had them taken off last week.

I'm not planning on it right now. I think it might be too much with racing stripes and rocker stripes. I've seen pictures of cars with both and its too much for me
Would anyone be interested in a set of light blue (Grabber Blue) 10 inch stripes for a 2010-2012? I think I am going to go in a different direction with the car. They are a complete bumper to bumper kit pre-cut for these years. High Performance Cast Vinyl

Well I'm taking your advice and meeting with a new guy today. Hopefully giving me the green light on installing!
Got a call from the body shop last night... Short story is the stripes never made it on. They haven't done enough of them to feel comfortable doing them. Now I gotta figure out a plan B.

Why didn't they tell you that in the first place. How much were the stripes? If not too much, you should do it yourself. You use a slightly soapy h20 mix. This keeps it lubricated and gives you the ability to move around the vinyl. Then squeegee out the water. You should spray on the same mixture and soft squeegee so you don't scratch the vinyl. Measure 3x and mark your lines and lay your vinyl.

I had the same trouble too. I bought the over the top stripes from the dealer, they refused to put them on, but their body shop were pushing for me to just paint them on for a "cool" $2000+, went to a local body shop, they refused to put them on, and the guy they recommended refused to put them on. So I went to return them since no one would do it, and magically their "master body guy" said yea, I'll do it, and got a discount on installation. The message here I learned was that because of the sheer size, places are hesitant to do it because if it's wrong, its super noticeable.

Chris, contact Hi-Line Window Tint in Victor. Those guys can do anything vinyl. They did a set of stripes for me about 3 yrs ago. I've since changed my theme.
Finally picked up a daily driver to keep the miles off the mustang. commuting adds up quick!
Just ordered Grabber Blue racing stripes for the stang. Can't wait to get them installed.

Where did you end up buying them from?

a place called DecalShoppe.com. I ended up calling them and they have more/different colors than what is listed on their website. For dual 10" bumber to bumber with 1/4" pinstripes it came to just over $200. Very reasonable I thought. I also upgraded to the "High Performance" material which is said to last longer.
Night one of AM 2015 prep is done... Full wash from fender wells to inner rim lips to under hood. Clay bar and engine bay detail. Tonight will consist of finishing engine bay, exterior plastics, waxing, and interior full detail.
