    I have a world class t5 in my 69 convertible with a 351W......haven't broken it yet and its been 12 years......I don't drag race it but I do beat it up a bit with some displays and a couple of stoplight runs.......motor has 10.5 to 1, small cam alum intake and 4bbl.

    I guess I'll throw my hat in the ring too.......I have a 428 CJ Mach 1 and a 351W with a 5 speed in my 69 convertible........if I had to choose which one to drive , its the 351W everytime. The CJ is heavy, and a pain in the ass to work on.....tons of torque and lots of fun going straight.....but...

    I hate to say this now that your car is in color, but if you want to tuck wide tires under the rear quarters, you're gonna have to trim or roll the wheel lip to avoid rubbing issues. I tend to run larger than stock wheels on my 69's and rolling the lip has been the best way to squeeze the tires...

    swapping axels

    Is it a big ordeal to swap out the 4 lug axels to a 5 lug set up? I've got a 90 GT and I'm tired of the 4 lug thing. I know the front is a piece of cake but I've never pulled one of these rears apart. Thanks Joe
