Some gears definately will make a huge difference and some tires tha would help u hook top end u should be alright especially if he can't drive. . .if he wins race him out of a roll lol. . .good luck keep us posted on what happens
damn what a sweet deal. . . i had fuel injection on my 302 and a carb in the 306 and i rather the carb i had better throttle response and was much more reliable not to mention cleaned up the engine bay but im sure some one else will chime in with more details on why its better. .keep us posted
my long tubes from hedman were a pain had to have them all cut up into pieces i bought some cheap summit brand long tubes previously n went right in with just a mini starter. . but you definately feel the difference in the headers its well worth it . .good job
i ran a stock bottom end in my 306 with speed pro pistons 11:1 compression and pro comp heads stage 3 hydraulic cam from trick flow 1.7 rockers an edelbrock victor jr intake and 650 double pump carb the motor was thrown together by the previous owner the components really didnt work well with...
